I haven't done any scrapbooking in many months. I completed Addison's first year book earlier in the 2012, but that's been about it. I've been so busy with taking care of my little babies, Girl Scouts and then my little man with his mom and dad moved in with me July 2012; so scrapbooking was put on the back burner.
Niki, Josh and Cooper went to Texas for a vacation, so I have the house to myself. Lynn and I got together to scrapbook yesterday, so I am continuing today, long overdue. I am working on Cooper's 1st year book. I made one for Laina and Addison, so Cooper gets his...hopefully before too long. He was one year old in August, so it's time to get with it!
I love making the scrapbooks for them. Being 63 and having such very young grandchildren, I may not be around when they grow up. I hope they can remember me with love and smiles when they look at their scrapbooks with their children one day.
It's storming outside, so it is a great day to scrap. My house is quiet except for a bad Sci-Fi movie on TV (my guilty pleasure, watching bad Sci-Fi when I'm alone). I miss hearing the sounds of my little guy jabbering his wonderful baby language and hearing his giggles, but they will be home at the end of the week, so til then I can try to complete his book for his coming home present.
