Grow UP!

Just talked to someone very important in my life and that person is having a very stressful time through no fault of their own. I am really upset that this is happening as it is because of people that refuse to grow up and take responsibility for their own lives. I try to be understanding and sympathetic, but at some point these people need to realize that they have caused their own problems and not rely on others to give them a hand out. I am a firm believer in a hand up, but hand outs are something else. I am a generous person and will help people when they need it, but at some point people have to be responsible and do what is right. If you dig a hole, it's up to you to get out of it, others can send you a rope to climb out, but once out--DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE! I am so tired of those who use others. I hate to ask anyone for anything because I feel like I am taking advantage, but every now and then, I need a little help. I understand needing help, but when you don't help yourself because you are too lazy or unmotivated, then asking others to do it for you is not the way to be all that you were meant to be. Enough ranting...I'm done for the night
