It's raining today. It's been really hot for October, but then we are in Louisiana, so it's to be expected. Today has cooled off a bit due to the rain. I have the blinds open, if not the windows up. It not that cool yet. I like to open the windows when it is pretty because I can watch the dogs play in the backyard and talk with them. They are so cute playing together...3 giant dogs acting like little puppies.
I am so tired today. Yesterday was so busy and I did it all with very little sleep. The lack of it was due to a coughing fit that hit me about 2 am. I couldn't get back to sleep, so I was up and planning Girl Scout troop activities. Our new year started with new books to go along with our 100th year anniversary. In addition, it is my 20th year in Girl Scouting and the 20th year of the existance of Troop 340. We have lots to celebrate!
Anyway, I worked on Girl Scout stuff from 2 am to 8 am, showered, dressed and got on my way. I stopped at the Girl Scout council office in Baton Rouge to pick up the new books and a few items we needed for the girls, then made my way to Niki's. I didn't really hold Cooper to much as I have been really coughing
