I have some free time at work on this late Friday afternoon, so I was checking to see if Niki or Jenn, my two daughters, posted any new blogs. They haven't so I read the old ones. I read and am in awe of the two of them. They are such amazing young women. One I had a little something to do with the outcome, the other I was lucky enough to inherit. They are articulate, intelligent, energetic, loyal, kind and loving; all of the attributes that make a good woman, mother, wife, daughter, friend, co-worker. If the world had more Nicoles and Jennifers, I think it would be a much better place.
While writing of these special young ladies, I have to mention their sweethearts, big and small. The two men in their lives are just as amazing as they are.
Josh is growing up before my eyes, changed so much in the two years that I've known him. He shows his love and support for Niki and Cooper every day. I am so glad that he is part of our family. Though there's no official paperwork, he's my other son.
Clay is married with two children and WOWs me every day. I know he had a good foundation to build on, but the fact that he is who he is, still amazes me. I guess because in my heart he will always be my baby boy, even though now he is a man, with a man's responsibilities, which he handles well.
Then of course, there are my three grandchildren, Laina, Addison and Cooper, who fill my heart to bursting just thinking about them. I've always been a happy person, but now I seem to walk above the ground because I am a grandma. Who would have thought!
I have a joyful heart!
